Found out that I did not final in the 2010 Genesis Contest. I must be truthful, at first I was disappointed. I had checked and double-checked my entry, carefully followed all of the instructions, prayed, and sent in my entry.
All is not lost though. The feedback I received is invaluable. Although I did not win, I did receive affirmation that my story is good, my writing needs a little work, but my voice is fantastic! All three judges loved it, so I am choosing to learn from the suggestions, and soak in the positive comments.
